We spoke with many lake residents about their recent renovation experiences and met with several of the area builders. In the end, we chose Bruce Beckley Construction based on his finished work, which we toured, positive comments about Bruce by local suppliers and subcontractors, and his on-going relationships with people we know and trust.  

We were not disappointed. We are extremely happy with our partly new and partly renovated lake place--now approximately 3000 sq. ft. with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Bruce listened patiently, made suggestions which proved insightful, worked us through the variance hearing, kept to the construction schedule, tolerated a probably excessive amount of involvement by us, demonstrated attention to detail and craftsmanship, and kept us well-informed throughout the building process. Moreover, his crew was personable, good natured, hard working and skilled--even in the coldest of winter months. In the end, the dream became reality. Impressive.

If we didn’t like the idea, no problem at all.  And if we did, you were prompt getting an estimate for what additional costs would be so we could make our decision. The same was true for new ideas or changes we envisioned along the way. We have lived in several old homes, doing extensive restoration and many remodeling projects over the years. Our Ten Mile Lake cabin is the first home we’ve built from scratch. We trusted you completely with that process and never doubted your commitment and integrity. And you’ve stayed in touch over the years since completing our home, always willing to help with any touch up, modification or addition we might have needed. We are satisfied and thankful we chose you to build our home.
